Hidden Creek Stables offers Hunter/Jumper lessons from beginners to the advanced rider, juniors and adults. We have school horses available for use in lessons, that can also be leased, or you can use your own horse. Private and group rates available in weekly or biweekly packages. Jenn Church also offers show coaching at different levels.

All beginner lessons are private sessions with one on one learning between instructor and student. Beginner riders will start by learning grooming, tacking up, and proper horsemanship. Then basic riding skills on the lunge line, and advancing to riding on their own in a smaller ring.

Intermediate and advanced riders will have customized lessons including flatwork, jumping, gymnastics, field rides, show etiquette and theory, just to name a few. Joint lessons are offerred to riders at the same level of riding skill.

Safety, confidence, and progression are the main focus for every lesson, but we also like to have fun and enjoy being with horses!

All Intermediate and Advanced students are expected to arrive at least 30-40 minutes in advance to the starting time of each lesson to groom, tack up, and warm up their horses. Please also allow 30-40 minutes after a lesson for horses to be cooled out, and properly cared for. Horses are the reason we love this sport and their health and happiness is a top priority!

Lessons on the lunge line are offerred to riders of all levels to promote proper equitation, balance, and relaxation.

Group lessons are scheduled throughout the month.
