Jenn Church brings over 14 years equestrian experience to Hidden Creek Stables. Jenn began competing in "A" circuit hunters and jumpers in 1995; has ridden for the NC State University Equestrian Team and served as the lead equine instructor for Wilkes Community College from 2004 and 2007. Jenn further enhanced her equine husbandry skills while working as an equine veterinary technician at the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine all while earning a B.S. degree in Animal Science (Equine Studies) and Agricultural Business Management from NCSU. Jenn continues to further her knowledge of riding instruction and training through continued instruction from elite professional riders and trainers. Instruction, competition and riding, has become a lifelong passion for Jenn. She began riding western pleasure at the age of 4 quickly moving to hunters, and then into the jumper ring.
Jenn is dedicated to the advancement of her students, just as she is with her own riding goals. Those receiving instruction from Jenn will quickly find that the rider’s safety and the welfare of the animal are top priorities. Balance, coordination, and accuracy are incorporated in each lesson in an effort to ensure confidence and accomplishment for both horse and rider. Instruction from Jenn is given through positive encouragement in a relaxing and rewarding atmosphere. Each student will establish and obtain riding goals through her aid. Whether the casual student at home or the competition rider in the ring, Jenn will work to help each student advance and find success.
